A CAUX FORUM 2024 INITIATIVE
On 16 September 2024 (18:30 - 19:30 BST), Initiatives of Change UK and Creators of Peace UK invite you to the online launch of a manifesto for democracy.
Created at the Caux Forum 2024 largely by women suffering a war and those that have lived through wars, this manifesto presents ideas designed to foster inclusivity, accountability, and innovation, challenging the status quo to ensure that every voice
is heard and valued.
Please note that this event will be in Ukrainian and English with translation.
Nataliia Muzyka
Nataliia Muzyka is a dedicated public figure with over a decade of experience in advocacy and community engagement. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for Energize STEM, a non-profit organization in the United States, Nataliia has committed her efforts to promoting educational opportunities and resources in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In addition to her role at Energize STEM, she is the founder and Head of the Association of Mothers and Wives of Ukraine’s Defenders, an non-profit organization that unites and supports women from military families, including those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. Through her leadership, Nataliia has created a vital network for these women, offering advocacy, resources, and emotional support. Her work embodies a deep commitment to the welfare of military families and the promotion of their rights, making her a significant force for change in her community and beyond.
John Bond
John Bond is a former Secretary of Initiatives of Change International, which is working in 45 countries to build trust and reconciliation in situations of tension and conflict. He has worked in 26 of these countries. For nine years he was the Secretary of Australia’s National Sorry Day Committee and its campaign, the Journey of Healing. With Aboriginal leader Brian Butler he wrote Sorry and Beyond: Healing the Stolen Generations, published by the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies with a foreword by former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the community through the work of the National Sorry Day Committee.
Nataliia Pipa
Nataliia Pipa is a Ukrainian politician and public figure, activist, volunteer, scout, former member of AIESEC, Member of Parliament of Ukraine of the IX convocation.
Jacqueline NB Ajongo
Jacquline NB Ajongo MP is a postgraduate degree holder. She has a master’s degree in economics and joined politics in 2005 as a member of the State Assembly. She worked as a Director General for the Ministry of Social Development and was appointed as the Minister of Information Communication and Postal Services. In 2007 she was appointed as a city Mayor. In 2016, she was transferred to the capital city of South Sudan, Juba to serve as a deputy secretary for Admin/ Finance in the National Secretariat of the Ruling Party (SPLM) and was promoted last year to the position of full secretary for planning and economic affairs in the secretariat and appointed in the Parliament in 2020. Jacquline regularly interacts with women, youth, and most of the syndicated organisations.
