Anniversary Meeting - A shared adventure between Switzerland and Africa for sustainable peace
15 years of partnership between Initiatives of Change Switzerland and the Swiss DFA

This virtual meeting aimed to highlight the links between Caux and Switzerland on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Initiative of Change Foundation - Caux (IofC) and the 15th anniversary of the partnership between the Caux Forum and the Peace and Human Rights Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The programme proposed for this commemorative day was based on two highlights: a panel discussion and a series of participative animations that will follow it. They showed how a Swiss way (through a need to rethink security and violence and a desire for peace and prevention) and a Swiss voice (through Caux and the FDFA) met in Caux the ways and voices of those from the African continent who wanted to share and commit themselves together to "Rethink security and prevent violence".
This meeting on 22 July 2021 echoed the official commemoration of 5 July 2021 (see the high-level panel convened on that date).
The meeting took place online but some members of the organising team were on site in Caux. Caux was therefore present at its anniversary!
