At the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation, we believe that a successful learning process involves the whole person. Over the last few decades, the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation has developed and applied a range of practices and tools that reflect its mission to inspire, equip and connect individuals, groups and organizations to engage effectively and innovatively in the promotion of trust, ethical leadership, sustainable living and human security.

The course "Dynamics of Change: Discover and experience the values of Initiatives of Change" is aligned with our core values and can be delivered as part of your stay in Caux or separately.

IMPORTANT: For participants based in Geneva and with a Swiss contract, please note that it is possible to obtain a subsidy from the canton of Geneva through the Chèque Annuel de Formation (CAF) programme. More information on the subsidy and eligibility criteria is available here.

Goal

For more than 75 years, the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation, a member of the Initiatives of Change (IofC) movement, has been developing innovative facilitation and training tools, imbued with the values of the organization and based on the fundamental idea that change starts with oneself.

This involves such practices as pacing one's day according to ‘quiet times’, developing active and empathetic listening, putting tools in place to support change, etc. These are all methods that are recognized as means of strengthening team cohesion.

You will also discover IofC’s programmes, including Creators of Peace and the Trustbuilding Program.

Objectives and deliverables

This training course offers a chance to explore the core values and tools of Initiatives of Change and apply them in practice. By the end of the session, you'll have experienced various working methods, including  ‘quiet time’, active and empathetic listening, and openness to change.
