Are you a comedian looking to push the boundaries of your art while benefiting from top-tier support? Join us at the Caux Palace, an exceptional venue above Montreux, for a unique comedy creation residency!
Residency Objective
This residency aims to help you create or finalize a comedic piece—be it a sketch, a radio or TV segment, or any other form of humorous expression.
What the Residency Offers
- Personalized support from Marie Guibourt, an experienced director and artistic coach who will guide you throughout your creative process. In addition to group and individual coaching sessions, she will provide theoretical tools, lead discussions with guest speakers, and support your progress throughout the residency.
- Thematic workshops led by renowned experts:
- Valérie Paccaud – Producer at RTS Couleur 3 and specialist in radio scriptwriting
- Marion Houriet – Co-director of Théâtre Boulimie, specializing in administrative management and fundraising
- Yoann Favre – Producer at RTS Couleur 3 and expert in social media visibility
- Anne-Catherine Sutermeister – Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation facilitator, helping to refine and develop your professional journey.
- Individual support and opportunities for exchange with experts
- Creative sessions solo or in groups to develop your projects
- Discussions with guest speakers: Thomas Wiesel, Vincent Sager (Opus One), Sébastien Corthésy (Jokers), and Frédéric Recrosio (Théâtre Boulimie).
- A professional photoshoot to enhance your communication tools
- A public showcase at the end of the residency, allowing you to test your creation in real conditions
For Whom?
8 spots for comedians looking to follow the full program: intensive coaching, workshops, accommodation, and meals covered.
3 spots for experienced comedians who do not wish to follow the full program: accommodation and meals covered, with the option to attend conferences and group meals, but without obligation. (Only for established comedians.)
Price
Valued at CHF 2,500, the residency is offered at a special price of CHF 300, thanks to the support of our partners and the State of Vaud. (Exclusively for members of the Union Romande de l’Humour (URH) and the Société Suisse des Auteurs (SSA).)

How to Apply?
Send your application by EMAIL before March 15, including:
- A short cover letter (10 lines are enough)
- Your artistic biography (it’s fine if it’s brief!)
- A creation objective for the comedic project you wish to develop or finalize during the residency.
