We are delighted to welcome the concert "Louis & Georges Schwizgebel - Poetry in music and images", organised by Septembre Musical Montreux-Vevey, at the Caux Palace.

With:

Benjamin Jacobs, cellist (opening the concert)
Jia Yong Sun, prima ballerina (opening the concert)

Programme

Thanks to the combined talents of Georges and Louis Schwizgebel, an unprecedented father and son duo, the animated film is combined with classical music. Together, they take you on a poetic journey inspired by immortal legends such as The Damnation of Faust, Cinderella and The Alder King. The virtuosity of Louis, a young piano prodigy, combined with the award-winning work of Georges, a renowned artist, painter, graphic artist and film-maker, promises a celebration of art in all its many forms.

To open the concert, we have the pleasure of welcoming two special guests: the very young and talented cellist Benjamin Jacobs from Lausanne and the star dancer Jia Yong Sun. They will be performing two works in their own way, under the theme ‘From Schindler's List to classical music’.

Entertainment and catering in the gardens of Caux Palace

  • From 6pm to 8pm: concert by Echoes of Django
  • From 6pm: bar with snacks
