Wael Al-Afandi

My name is Wael Al-Afandi and I was born in Syria 25 years ago and left my country at war to continue my studies in Europe. After four years studying social and political sciences in Germany, I decided to continue my university career in France so as to be  closer to the Eco-village project that I am developing with 20 other families. I have worked for several years with different international organizations and I wish to put my experience and connection with the world at the service of the Creative Leadership conference so as to create bridges between worlds, cultures, countries and people. Having experienced war I understand the importance of seeking peace and I have realized that it is by changing our lifestyles and ways of thinking that we will one day be able to achieve it.
