17 April 2020

2pm CET

Join us for a new live quiet time event on Friday, 17 April 2020, at 2pm CEST.

The event will be led by Rainer Gude, Co-Director General of IofC Switzerland. You can sign up here. Even if you do not have a Facebook account, you should be able to access the video here. Don't miss this opportunity to (re)discover this practice and take some time to reflect on yourself and the world.

Where: It will appear under "videos" on our Facebook Page

When: 17 April 2020, 2pm CEST

Quiet time is a form of silent reflection that consists in becoming mindful of what is going on inside (thoughts, feelings, motives) and writing it down.
It is different from the forms of meditation that consist in letting thoughts come and go. It is also different from effortful focused thinking about a question or problem. Rather, quiet time is about looking inside and seeing whether what we find points to areas in the past that need attention, future actions, relationships that need care, etc.
As a raise in awareness often results in positive change, let us all come and practice together in this difficult time. Rainer will be guiding you through it. After the 15mn of silent reflection, there will be some time to share your reflections..
Whether you are an experienced practitioner or have never heard of it, join people from all over the world for this beautiful practice. You only need a pen and some paper to write down your insights.
If you cannot join live, no worries, the video will remain on our page after the event.
